Peter Gopal, PhD

Peter is Founder and President of Visionary Management. Peter has been involved in the dental field since 1998.

Peter is Business Director at a general dentistry practice in New Jersey, which was started by his wife Hema. He runs the business side of the practice. He leads practice growth initiatives, oversees scheduling & accounting, and is in charge of the human resource function (including staff recruiting, training, and business staff performance management). He coordinates and implements marketing campaigns and monitors practice performance.

Having pilot tested many approaches and ideas, he brings proven concepts and programs to clients.

Prior to entering the dental field, Peter worked in various leadership positions at Rohm & Haas Company, a Fortune 500 firm based in Philadelphia, for 10 years. He has also consulted for small businesses in the area of organizational performance.

Peter is a 1993 graduate of the Wharton Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania, and earned a doctorate in engineering from Cornell University in 1987.

He is an avid sports fan and enjoys traveling and reading.

Hema Gopal, DMD, MBA

Hema Gopal maintains a private family practice, Premier Dental, in Bordentown, NJ, and is Vice President of Visionary Management.

Aside from treating patients, she oversees the flow of patients and directs staff so that the practice runs smoothly. She also manages the performance and professional development of clinical staff, keeps tabs on supply costs, and makes decisions regarding investments in new technology.

She received her DMD from Temple University and has been practicing dentistry since 1996.

She holds an MBA from Pace University in New York. Prior to attending dental school, she worked for 5 years at Shearson Lehman Brothers on Wall Street.

In her spare time, she enjoys painting, reading, writing, and traveling.
